Sarah Nemtanu
Sarah Nemtanu became known to the public when she was appointed concermaster of the Orchestre National de France. She was just 21. In 2009 she is the real performer in the film « Le Concert » by Radu Mihaileanu. Her last recording (Naïve label) « Gypsic » is the lead of the sales in France.
Sarah is regularly invited aby the French radios and television.
She plays a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin (1784) lent by the famous Foundation Zilber-Rampal.

Prior to this fame, she was awarded a « 1er prix Maurice Ravel » in 1998 when she was just 17, and became laureate of the famous international comptetition Antonio Stradivarius in 2001. She was made known to french public when she performed the Brahms Double Concerto with cellist Gautier Capuçon and conductor Emmanuel Krivine.
She regularly plays under famous conductors such as Kurt Masur, Bernard Haitink, Sir Colin Davis, Ricardo Mutti, in the most reknowned concert-halls in the world (Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Century Hall in Tokyo, Carnegie Hall in New York or the Musikverein in Vienne).

She is a versatile musicians and loves performing with other musicians . In 2011-2012 she will play in with pianists Romain Descharmes or Anne-Lise Gastaldi, with her sister Deborah (also a concermaster in a major French orchestra, with the violist Lise Berthaud, and in a trio with violoncellist Christophe Morin and violist David Gaillard. She also plays regularly with Gautier Capuçon, David Guerrier, and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger.
