Delphine Tissot
Delphine Tissot studied first the violin with Jean Lenert and Pierre Doukan from 1992 until 1998. She continued her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the viola class of Bruno Pasquier.

Her orchestral experiences start in 1996 with the European Community Youth Orchestra (1996-1997) and the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester, where she played Co-Principal and Principal Viola.

Delphine Tissot has been an extra player at the Berliner Philharmoniker from 1999 until 2001, where she played concerts, recordings and tours under Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Seji Osawa, Simon Rattle and Daniel Barenboim.

In 2002, Delphine Tissot became a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. She is also guest principal viola in the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa in Japan. Additionally she performs regularly with Cadaques Orchestra, European Camerata, and Les Dissonances..Before that, she was second Solo Viola at the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestre.
Since 2009 she’s also playing as a principal guest with les musicians du Louvre and the Gran Canaria philharmonic orchestra.
